If you have a 93, as your screenname suggests, a 2.25" pulley is the recommended size to get a good increase in boost without causing a lot of knock retard. To better feel the benefits of the increased boost, I'd suggest a CAI (you'll have to make your own, search rice pipe), and a high flow catalytic convertor (I've got a Magnaflow, and I like it). As far as mufflers go, I have a 2.5" in/2.5" dual out F-body Magnaflow and I love the sound.

I agree with the above other than the intake (full CAI) should be done first to benefit, and the exhaust should be done to battle KR. He'll still probably get some KR on a hot day. I'm beginning to think a 2.3" is a safer bet than a 2.2" on the 92/93. It depends on the car, and should be scanned before and after the pulley. Where does he live?

i live in St. Louis..... yup hot and humid in the summer and cold as balls in the winter... i will probibly just make a intake and just do the cats so i'm guessing i should go with the 2.3 inch pully but will that give me a good increase in hp and in boost? where should i get this pully at?

thanks

it is when the engine senses any pinging in the engine through the Knock Sensor and pulls timing and decrease performance

www.pulleyboys.com

That'* pretty much the only source for pulleys for the Series 1 L67'* from 92-95.

A 2.2 or 2.3" pulley will net you about 25hp and even more torque (perhaps 35-40ft/lbs) IF you have a supporting intake and exhaust.

Not to be "highjacking" this thread, Where do you get an over sized tentioner pully to go along with an under sized SC pully?
