this is probably a stupid question but how would i go about installing a 180* stat on my Bonnie and what'* the best one available to do the trick?

what'* the added benefiets of putting a 180* stat in compared to stock

It will lower your engine temp helping to reduce KR.

Rubber hoses and O-rings will last longer.
Engine bay will be cooler.
For every 10*F drop in intake air temp you will realize a 1% increase in HP. A hotter engine will heat up the intake air a bit traveling thru the intake manifolds and heads.
