Sorry if this subject has been beat on, but even after searching I couldn't find a comprehensive thread on Stage 1,2,3 kits for the Bonni....a general performance/cost sticky would be real cool

Anyway, what does it take to get into the 13'*? Would either of the kits below do it? The 3800 Performance package says it will create a mid 13 sec car.

Rogue recommended his Stage 3 kit from INTENSE for my application. Both kits look similiar, major difference headers vs. cat-back only.

Will these kits create 13'*? The reason I ask is I see a lot of people sig'* on this board advertising their times, and it seems that the people with these mods are getting 14'* and not 13'*. Im looking to get in the 13'* without getting into the major internals of the motor.

Lastly, is a 50-shot of dry nitrous the way to go?

Is your car heathly?

Cam( VS or S1x), pulley(3.3), headers, PCM will put you in the 13s for under 2k$

The only "package" you should even be checking out is one from Intense IMHO, as they have PCm for your application

I was hoping to you wouldn't say cam or headers. The intense kit definitely seems to be the better choice.

So let me ask it directly then, what will be my 1/4 time if I installed that kit, no other mods?

At least Headers and 1.9 rockers, throw a ported */C and LIM on there and you will be in the 13s.

I ran 13.5s with S1x, PCM, 3.25, free flowing exhaust, and HP ported */C. Granted a GTP, but you get the idea

Remember that Mod for Mod, the Grand Prix will be slightly quicker. They have a lighter curb weight and different gearing. You're doing the right thing by comparing here though.

Just keep in mind that the time you run depends a whole lot on YOU. It'* not all what you do to the car. A good launch is a skill that you need to refine.

My Intense Level 3 kit put me at a 13.6@103.

They can't guarantee 13'* because a lot will come down to the driver, weather, track prep, car prep, and if you use slicks or not. There are other variables besides whats under the hood to determine how fast you run.
