I gotta 800$ burning hole in my pocket so I intend to do something soon.

So you say that Gt1 cam wont be good with the upcoming ss kit?

Should I just wait for the supercharger? I thought it would be out by now

Yeah don't get a n/a cam if your going to go boosted. You'll be kicking yourself in the azz if you do. A mild */c cam will really be better to steer you clear from KR. With the higher compression, you want that engine to floooow. Then you can safely step down from the huge 4" pulley. You might even want a NIC cam since it looks like it'* going to take a while to get an intercooler for the modified ss blower and LIM.
Stock L36 bottom ends have seen 10'* but they had every bolt on possible and flowed like crazy.

It might seem much less exciting but i think you should rebuild your tranny before you go boosted. All that low end torque from the m90 is gonna make your tranny take a dump pretty quick.

Yeah disregard what i was telling you about 4t60-e'*. lol i forgot you had a 98 with a 4t65.

So anyway. Yes! That is defintely one of the weaker parts of the 4t65. I think i've read that there are only a few minor differences between the 4t65-e and the 4t65-hd other than the diff.

I don't know what you have decided on if anything, but I would do either a cam & springs, or I would do rockers, springs, pcm, PEM'*. Both should give about the same gain I would think, but the second way would be more streetable for a daily driver. (probably not much though) How fast are you thinking you'll want to make this car eventually, thats the deciding factor on the mods you'll want to do.

Well at first I just wanted to get into the 14'*

but you know how it is.

You start seeing possibbilities and you want more.

I wanna get into the 13'* for sure. Damn 3800'* have such a great aftermarket. If It didnt have all these options I wouldnt care but the options are there.

Im sure once im there I wont need to see 12'* but for sure I want to shoot for the 13'*. Im willing to spend a decent amount of money.
