top end noise
well there is a chatter from the top end, it stared off quiet abour 1500 miles ago and has gotten worse. it stays with the rpm, the engine has not been beatin on. it is full of good clean oil. but when the car was my dads it was not taken care of so well, oil was not chaged often to say the least. it has not been overheated or anything. there has never been a lim gasket leak. also could this be related to mt misfire issue ? what could it be guys ?
thanks
also sorry for starting another thread... this car has a few probs.

Any chance you can post up a video? Internal top end noise would be the valve train. Valve, rocker, push rod, or cam. Can you tell if the noise is more to the front, or more to the back, or in the center.

It will depend on what you find. A bent push rod is a easy fix, a broken valve spring, a bit more work but still can be done. If it'* a collapsed lifter, that'* a bit more work.
