Hmmmmmm.... that is so odd. My aunt'* LSS said Supercharged right under the LSS instead of Oldsmobile. Possibly a rare emblem?

No LSS had supercharged emblem from Olds. Its the ultimate sleeper, no indication anywhere that they are a "performance" sedan. No spoiler, no GFX, no badge indicating anything unless you notice the extra * on LS or the unusual wheels and tire width, then the buckets and floor shift. I know thats how I found ours. I walked over to look at it because I saw the sun roof. After I got there and looked inside at the interior and noticed the wheels & tires I began to say "what the heck is going on here ? "

This actually has always been a trait of higher end American sedans like Olds, Caddy Buick, Mercury, Chrysler...............the cars never said much until you put your foot down...........subtle

True, but not all LSS are supercharged. You could get all the wheels, buckets, and the LSS badge w/o the SC and the majority of LSS were orderd or came without the whine.

Thats where one needs to know to go look at vin on dash and count to that 8th digit. I have yet to see one in my area that has the #1. There are a few I have not checked yet however.
