Default security light

so today after i came home from work parked it and came back 5 mins later to move it and the security light is flashing. ive tried the relearn procedure with no secsuss. i would have swore there used to be a write on how to disable the security but ive searched and searched and cant find it. so anybody know how disable it in a 96 olds LSS ?

also cleaned the battery cables and termanales

if you have the one with the resistor in the key theres two ways to go about it. to just bypass the key you can cut the orange wire and solder in a resistor of the same value in the wire that goes back,

or you can bypass the module signal that goes to the pcm.

Where can I find the value of the wire ? Also just cut the orange wire goin to ignition switch and solder in a reaister any where on the wire ?

measure the key with a dmm, find a resistor of the same value, the wire is actually two, cut the wire, tape the wire that goes toward the ign switch, separate the wires that go the other way, and put the resistor in so that it completes the circuit going to the module

i wonder if the connecter yyour talking about actually works, because i cant find the right resisters anywhere

you might have to make one with two in parallel or series to get in the window for values. what does your key read?
