I recently purchased a 98 Olds LSS with the supercharger option and I love it. Smooth ride and lots of zip for a large car.

I am already looking to install a 3.4" pulley and some sort of cold air induction.

What kind of intakes are you guys running? FWI, CAI, other?

I would think whatever the Bonne guys are using would work seeing it'* an H-body also. Someone will jump in here most likely with a 96-99 Bonne and tell all.

Nice purchase. Those cars are quite uncommon.

I think a nice CAI would be the safest option if you live in a rainy area. Supposedly, a FWI will give you a few more ponies.

WELCOME!!! Gotta love the sleeper Oldsmobile'*. Doesn't compare to the SS, but can be made to run right up there with it for less than $2k -still less than the Y2K costs.
And yes, the LSS is going to be basicly identical to the Bonneville under the hood (accept for the PCM) -my brothers 1998 LSS N/A 3800 looks identical to my 1998 SSE under the hood (minus the mods that I have)

To date my SS has run a 13.3 at 106 mph with only a lid and cut out.

Low 14'* should not be that hard to acheive. A PCM, pulley, intake, and rockers and you should pretty much be there. If you added a SS intercooler to that list you would be in the 13'* easily.

Welcome fellow supercharged LSS owner. Stock these run 0-60mph in 6.9 sec and trap at around 14.9 to 15 in the quarter. They are in between a SSEi and GTP in weight. I think 3.4" pulley, PCM, intake and exhaust should put you at low 14'*. Rockers may drop you into the 13'*. A member here with a 98' SSEi had those mods and ran a 13.9. Don't look at the 2K and newer too much if you want a comparison, they are hevier than 96-99. Look at the mods on the 96-99 SSEi'* and their times to get a good idea of what you'll run. Again welcome to the dark side.
