Location of the headlight control module
Problem solved!
I dug through the wiring and found nothing. The last solution was to remove the dimmer switch and inspect the internals of the device. I expected to see melted wires or broken plastic with a spring in the middle. Nothing. The dimmer switch was as clean as a baby'* tear. Shrugging my shoulders, I checked the wires with a tester just in case. Everything is fine, there was nothing wrong with the wires. I assembled the device, installed it back on the steering column, connected the wires to the hub, scratched my head, smoked a cigarette, connected the negative terminal to the battery and... the headlights were on. ..
Howling with annoyance, I returned to the car and found that the headlight switch was pressed. Not expecting a positive result, I pressed the button and the lights turned off. Mother of God, it'* done! Now it remains to assemble the panel back and drink something delicious for the success and health of everyone who helped me solve the problem. Thank you very much!
