I replaced Cam Sensor and still no fix. (Code 42)

Well I have had the code 42 for a while now and I decided to replace the Cam Sensor.
That did not fix my problem. Whats the next step do you guys think I should do?
The check engine light turns on randomly and some times the car will just shut off while driving. When it does that my cruise control doesn't turn back on for a bit.
It do the famous Cranking but does not turn over.
So any ideas?

Is it getting fuel? Is your fuel pump working properly and holding pressure?

code 42 is also related to the icm.Start your car and heat the icm up with a heat gun or hair dryer and see if after it warms up it dies if so your icm is bad. Also check out all your wiring between the icm and cam sensor

Yeah. I hooked up the pressure gauge and I am getting a good reading when the car is just sitting and when it is running too.

I am not getting spark. That is why its not turning on.

Do you guys think if I were to replace my crank sensor that it will fix my problems?

Could it possibly be my ECU going bad? Maybe getting hot and not sending spark?

Not ECU I mean ICM.

yes if it runs while cool then after warm it dies out it sounds alot like a typical failing icm also that would be your associated code 42

my 1994 88 was also randomly shutting down, however it always would start right back up. I've replaced the crankshaft sensor and that seems to have done the trick.
