Default Hi beams not staying on

They work, I pull back on the lever and they turn on, and so does the hi-beam indicator
I hear the "click", they're still on,
I let the level back out, and they go out. Hi-beam indiciator goes out too.

This is a result of a small accident where his bumper was higher than ours which broke the grill and pushed in the inside corners of the lights.

Ideas?

I was going to suggest turning the ac on/down. Must of been thinking about something else.
