Default gas gauge?

The gas gauge on my 1992 Oldsmobile 88 floats I guess you could call it. The gas hand moves up and down while im driving or turning around a corner. Could anyone point me in the right direction on how to fix this?

should be similar to this except you have to drop your tank out from under the car
