couldnt of explained it better myself. you can also dump the coolant flush in the radiator as well then proceed with flush

Do you have to worry about the cold garden hose water breaking the engine block when the cold water comes in contact with the hot engine parts???

i dont think so, thats what the instructions say to do, and i have done it a ton of times on a bunch of different cars without one issue
