Cold air comes in around the passengers feet-2003 Olds Alero
Sorry, new to how to post, so here I go. I am sure someone out there could have the same problem. I own a 2003 Olds Alero. Ever since I bought the car in 2006, there has been cold air coming in somewhere on the floor on the passenger side only. I have looked everywhere to see if it is missing insulation on the firewall. Checked the door gasket. No success. Maybe someone else has experience this problem. Have dealt with for many years now, but thought since winter is about to arrive around the corner, maybe might be able to solve the problem. Thanks in advance.
I only get the cold air when the car is moving. I don't have the air conditioning on either. There is a draft coming in from somewhere and like I mentioned, only on the passenger side.

Sounds to me like the servo that controls the recirculating vent on your HVAC is stuck or its not working. Or the HVAC assembly isn't seated properly to the firewall. The servo motors go out all the time.

Not if the recert door is barely cracked because that wouldn't make enough air pressure to blow to the other side of the dash but it would feel like a draft coming from the passenger foot vent. Best thing to do is remove the glovebox and get a little mirror and confirm all the servo motors are working back and fourth and go from there.
