Default air con...

theair only blows out if the top and bottom but not the vents. i have checked all vac lines and they are all working good. i have partillay taken apart the dash and found the heat blend door is operated by vacum and the recurculate is elictric, but could not find where the things are that change the air flow. is there anyway i can manually change it to vents for the summer and back to defrost for winter ? how can i fix this ? does anyone have a diagram of the airbox ?

thanks

I think what our looking for is on the drivers side near the center. It'* the door that switches between the different levels.

Check the vacuum manifold that connects to the heater/ac control panel. It looks like a big wire harness but is actually vacuum lines. Disconnect it and start the car, you should have constant vacuum on one line. I found one them split causing erratic vent operation. I think an LSS may have electronic controls for this but it still will connect to a vacuum harness somewhere.

Just curious but did you ever get this fixed? I'm having the same issue. Changed all the vacuum line connections under the hood. etc., etc.
