Default 97 olds 88 oil seepage

Hey Guys, Got a 97 Olds 88 and noticed there is Oil seepage around the Oil Filter area ...had the Oil Changed.. and notice the new filter also has oil seepage... I checked to see if filter was tight... it is.. and left it alone

is this typical or is there a sensor above it that will leak after time?

any info would be dreat

the oil sensor is known for leaks on 3800'*, good possibility. but you need to make sure which it is

I checked it out.... neither are leaking

I had cleaned them last time when I seen oil down the side of filter

two weeks later, still clean... shop must have slopped oil and did not clean up
