the connector is the D shaped 16 pin connector, according to your reply the cp9145 or the cp9150 scanners should read trouble codes is this correct? i can clear codes by disconnecting batt but soon as it starts in seconds code is set. thanks for your time JMFIREBIRD

that what i get too, did a quick search on ebay though and 9145 comes up with some scanners but not 9150, nothing at all call up on actrons site

i was trying to repair this for my neighbor & told her her best bet take it to gm dealer & get it scanned. i thank everyone for trying to help me especially jmfirebird. many thanks to all. merry christmas
