I just let the car run till hot, the driver side fan came on at 202 . It stayed on till the temp came back .down to 195 then off till it went back up then on again. The passenger side fan did not come at all during this test. you said the second fan is for air conditioner only? The gauge appears to be off by a bit. The gauge showed well past the 200 mark .The temps taken are from both large hoses with a 500 degree infrared thermometer.

Went for a test ride tonight, with the knowledge I have gained over the last few days I think everything will be good. Thank you to all who helped me out.

The pusher fan will only come on in these cars in extreme conditions (+90 degrees) when the head pressure from the A/C is high enough.

Thanks for the info. I thought it might be an extreme heat. gary r
