Default 89 Oldsmobile leaking water threw the driver side Firewall or Inner Fender

My 89 Olds Delta 88 leaks water threw the firewall when it rains or I take it threw the car wash and I have tried everything I know of to stop it but have failed at every attempt on plugging the leak. So since I can't afford a body shop to fix it I am wanting to get a hold of something that will coat my floorboards to protect the metal and also make it usable to not half to put my carpet back in my car due to the water leak I have. I know the make the stuff for off road vehicles to coat there floorboards to protect them from water but I don't know what it is called. Also a body shop it wanting all most a 1k to look at it and fix the leak. I can't afford that at all so I am gonna pull out my carpet and coat my floorboards with something so it can leak all it wants to and I don't have to deal with the smell from my carpet. So due yall know what that stuff is or due yall know something else that would be just as good to help me out on this. Thanks.
