I am stumped at the issues going on with this car! I had scanned it, came up with tps code, engine knock sensor, mass air flow code. I replaced all the above and the problem still exists. When you start the car, with check engine light on, put in reverse, the car has 100% power drive ability, put the car in drive, it will act like it is starting in 3rd or 4th gear. Push the accelerator to the floor, and you hope the car will get going. I checked the temp of the cat, thought the cat was plugged, removed cat, installed straight pipe, dis-connected battery for 10-15 minutes to clear engine light and codes, re-connected battery, engine light remained off, car drove 100% like it should for 1/2 hour of normal driving conditions. returning home, slowed down to pull in my driveway , small incline, engine light came back on, car could hardly make it up the driveway! what am i missing? could the pcm be going bad? any help, surely appreciated! jt

I wonder if you have a bad PCM or a problem with the wiring harness. I think those three sensors use the same quad driver. I would start checking over the wires first.
