Default 1991 Olds 98 High Beam Headlight Multi-Switch

Our Multi-switch (clicker) for the high beam headlights will not click back to turn on the high beam lights unless the tilt wheel is in an upward position and then it works just fine..... I've checked the adjustment of the rod to the high beam switch mounted alongside of the bottom of the steering column and it seems to be in the correct position.... what is going on??.

with the headlights on, push on the high beam switch with your finger. if the high beams come on, then the rod needs adjustment. also listen for the clicking sound it makes. if it works by hand, you have to adjust the rod, be careful not to move the ignition switch out of adjustment. if you do. let me know and I'll tell you how to adjust it if you don't know how.

If the rod is not pushing the switch enough it needs adjusting. That'* all there is to it.
