1989 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Brougham
I have the 3800 motor in my Oldsmobile and I'm looking to turn it into a sleeper. And I know there are other vehicles with the same motor that are supercharged and or turbod and I'm having a hard time finding parts for it dew to it being so old can someone point me in the right direction.
Best bet would be to look nationwide for parts in salvage yards. Ebay can be good too, but is rife with scammers these days. Otherwise, join a lot of message boards and see what you can find. Pre-1996 of this platform has mostly disappeared thanks to age and lack of support of pre-OBD2 platforms. I'm not saying it'* not there, just that it is very rare. Your best bet for hardware for your purpose would probably be early 1990'* supercharged Park Avenues.
El 3800 es un motor muy buena base para un sleeper, pero es normal que te cueste encontrar piezas porque ya es una plataforma bastante antigua. La clave es no buscar solo en Oldsmobile, sino en todo el ecosistema GM de ese motor.
Translation: The 3800 is an excellent foundation for a sleeper build, but it’* to be expected that you’ll have trouble finding parts, as it’* a rather old platform by now. The key is not to limit your search to Oldsmobile alone, but to look across the entire GM ecosystem for that engine.
