02 Olds Silhouette
Happy Holidays!! Got a strange question here......
Grandpa has a 2002 Olds Silhouette GLS and he said his wipers are stuck in the "up" position. I couldn't understand what he meant so I went over and confirmed. I turned them off, on, ignition on, off.....and each and everytime they go right back to the up position. They will not rest back in the norm.......at the base of the winshield.
I called a local parts store and they didnt have a clue......I was hoping someone here may.
If any of you have an idea I would love the suggestions.
Thanks!

Can't say for sure. But you should be able to pop the linkage off the motor shaft, then move the wipers to the down position, then put the linkage back on the motor shaft.

I have removed ths board and with a magnifing glass found the 360 degree crack and re-melted the solder and was back in bussiness again.
You can also get a new pulse board at any parts store, about 30 bucks.
