Description
CRUISE CONTROL STATUS CIRCUIT

PCM can disable Cruise Control (C/C) if conditions are
detected which make C/C operation undesirable. If C/C status signal
indicates C/C is engaged when PCM is inhibiting C/C operation, DTC
P1554 is set.

Symptoms
You likely won't notice any drivability problems.

Causes

• PCM is inhibiting C/C operation

Solutions

• Check for faulty connections or damaged harness at cruise control module.
• Replace cruise control module.
