EGR pintle performance

Symptoms

Causes

• Open EGR ignition filter circuit.
• Excessive deposits on EGR valve pintle or seat.
• Poor connection or damaged harness.
• EGR Valve Icing.

Solutions

• Test for voltage at the EGR plug
• Inspect and clean EGR pintle
• Inspect EGR plug for damage or loose connection.
