P0327

Description
KNOCK SENSOR CIRCUIT BANK 1


Knock Sensor (KS) is used to detect engine detonation
(knock). When KS module in PCM determines that an abnormally high
noise channel voltage exists, PCM will set DTC P0327.

Symptoms
You may notice problems including a lack of power and perhaps some hesitation.

Causes
  • The knock sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced
  • There is a wiring short/fault in the knock sensor circuit
  • Mechanical problem with the engine.
