So lastnight I'm sitting watching House, and I keep hearing drip........drip........drip.......so I turn down the TV, and walk over to where it sounds like it'* coming from. It'* the Hot water heater leaking :?

So ok, I live in a apartment and the bonus is I don't have to pay for this but this morning I wake up and squish squish under my feet. My carpet is soaked!! Now I'm mad, so all morning long I have been trying to call the front office and finally 10 minutes ago got ahold of them. The manager tells me they don't have time today to go get a new hot water heater, so it will be done tomorrow Don't have time???? It'* just about 10am, you have all day!! So it looks like I'll be going to my Mom'* for a shower tonight

ask them now about cleaning it NOW before it "dries" and you have to deal with the smell and/or mold

According to the manager, the guy is going to go in there today to take care of the water. That better include cleaning of my carpet otherwise I'm gonna throw a fit like a 5 year old.

Mmm, yeah, been there, done that. Was gone all day from early morning...returned that night to find nearly 3 inches of water in the apt. mmm, joy. never fun. good luck in getting it fixed
