Yeah we have a lot of nutcases here that think its ok to do 80-100 in a 45-50 Zone and in thick traffic.... They deserve those tickets... Funny how they did it tho... IIRC they did this last year too

And like Don said, there are TONS of idiots here that think traffic laws do not apply to them...which is why we have one of the highest brackets for insurance

Where I am there aren't many places to do much for speeding.... I have been in the rual areas where you have 30 miles of nothing.... Then all of the sudden OMG a windmill... Myself and a coworker were late for a meeting, it was a 55mph zone... I was doing 80... We were the only people on the road
( kinda freaky ).... Speeding there is not condoned, but there was no one else in sight.. Blank land with a 2 lane country road..I have in the past paid attention to the speed traps... I have seen people flying up on my ( I'm in a 45 going 50 ) I move out of the way and let them run right into the trap... I giggle as I drive by... No reason for going 70-80 in a 45 in moderate traffic...
I have been driving sence I was 15( permit )31 now, I have yet to wreck a car... I hope that it doesn't happen to me, but it can so I always pay attention to the people around me... Its the idiot in front of you, behind you or beside you that you have to worry the most about... Pay attention to everything around you as opposed to the Cell phone, or MP3 player...
One of the very things that actracted me to a Bonneville was the steering wheel controls on that 89 SSE way way back when...
I'm not the best driver in the world, but who better to teach a kid how to drive than a country boy turned Military Cop...
End of my long rant... If you are in a hurry and in traffic... Deal with it... Don't injure other people just cuz you want to go fast... ( I did 40-45 in a 55 today because of slow people, I just went with the flow, music going and just enjoyed the drive )

Admittingly, I do speed as well... but usually when there is a 45 zone, its 45 for a reason. I noticed that quite often around here, when its a 45 zone there is usually a good bit of homes around and/or businesses. When it turns to 55/65 there is nothing but road; so going anything faster than 50-55 in that 45 zone is stupid to me.
I do have a bad habit of going 70 on 422 when I'm heading into Butler (55 mph limit) though... but alas I still get passed like crazy.
and also, if anyone ever tailgates me when I am speeding and we happen to be on a single lane road... I will do the speed limit or slightly less just to irritate you. It'* the most annoying thing in the world for me to be going 65 in a 55 and have someone right on my bumper because I'm not going fast enough apparently
