Yes you can, by simply preloading the engine (brake torquing), but the beauty is you don't HAVE to. You have boost (all of it) within milliseconds of throttle tip-in with a supercharger, where with a turbo, you HAVE to preload to whatever rpm the turbo spools at. If I preload to say 3500 rpms, I just spin forever, even with siped tires aired down on a prepped track. I'd have to use slicks with a Turbo. The beauty of the SC is the instant boost with no lag.

The reason you see a little boost on the non-preload launch vids is because I have the brake on and I'm just tickling the throttle. With the BCA adjustment, you just THINK about touching the throttle and you have the beginnings of boost.

Considering my fuel pressure probs, I can't wait to see what she does with the new pump and actually running right.

Not to change the subject, but what do you have plugged in your cigarette lighter?

FM modulator. I plug my laptop or my PDA or either one of the kids' MP3 players into it, and it plays through the FM band. Or I stick in a USB memory stick with MP3'* into the bottom lower portion, and then use the play track, etc buttons to play those. I have one in each car. Very nice. About 30 bucks apiece.

I have massive KR above half throttle due to a weak fuel pump and resulting lean condition.

I'm about 30 hp short of where she should be as a result.
