Happy Holidays, to me anyways, just basically means you are covering everything from Thanksgiving to New Years so I've never been offended by it, not so much making a statement about political correctness.

Yeah at the shop this day, some older guy told my co-worker "Merry Christmas" and was like, "Can I say that..."

Weird how cussing used to be offensive, insults, and now friendly greetings have made their way into offensive terms.

Holiday greetings do not bother me.

I personally have always known it as Christmas, and a Christmas tree. What bothers me is this wanting to change the name to a holiday tree. like WTF is that. The other thing that bothers me is you have alot of people from other countries moving over here ( Canada) and wanting to change our laws and religions. If you moved to their country and tried to change the laws ans religions to suit you, you would get shot and hung. I blame it in our *cough*******cough* government. Politics has no place in the holidays. I have NOTHING against other religions at all. Hell I am catholic, but you never see me going to church, that is my choice, and I respect the choices of others. This is a much bigger thing that just the holiday season, but that is for another topic, lmfao.

Short form, Yes it is happy holidays, since there is more that one going on, but it is still a Christmas tree, hehe.

[begin rant]
I think that everyone ***(not people here)*** need to shut up and stop slapping lawsuits against people for celebrating there religion. This is the U.*.A. right? Land of the FREE! You have the right to worship your own religion or no religion at all. If someone is celebrating Christmas (I do), then let them celebrate it. I dont have anything against other relegions, and dont try to stop their holidays. If a religon/holiday is pushed on you, then I see a reason to speak up, but until that happens, let people go on thier merry way.
With that said, I wish everyone who celebrates it a Merry Christmas, and to everyone else Happy Holidays.

[/end rant]
