Ya, "many hobbies" keeps me out of trouble and jail.

Let'* see. Working on cars, photography, computers. Soon I plan to add small farming, slight veterinary with my gf (she'* a vet), and racing.

Don't bring the GF to my house Nicky, I have to hear about "work" enough as it is. Daughter is a Vet too. I get so tired of hearing about pet nutrition, neuters, and clogged anal glands. Not what I want to hear about over dinner.

I could tell stories about the work she does.

She works for an animal research facility. Some of the stuff I don't like, but if it betters our way of life I guess I can't complain so much.

Yep. Retirement for me is so much nicer with her enjoying her work, I grin and bear it, and plan my next hobby......hehehe

If I have it my way I'll never retire. If I can turn a hobby into a job that'll be the greatest thing ever.

When you get enough toys, taking care of them IS a job. Just finished putting 2 weeks into my boat. If the lake level would go down, the hard work would pay off.

I dunno if I'll get a boat. Those are just pits to throw money into and then burn.

You got that right, and my 5 year extended just ran out.......

My parents boat is a great example. 24 foot Party Barge pontoon.

Replaced the entire motor with "new" one. I6 115 HP Mer-Cruiser with tilt and trim. Then they built a sun deck over the motor in the back. 2 year later they re-decked the entire thing. Then a year after that they re-upholstered all the seats.

It'* been 3 years since they did the last thing to it and it'* been sitting in the yard.
