Only if you change the size of your TB, MAF or injectors. Otherwise, it'* mostly useless.

probably useless for me, I already have the better TB and I have been told to not even think of upgrading my injectors because it would be a waste of money. Oh well ill have to think of something else to spend my money on LOL.

I thought I would get some support from people like bill, but in return get smart comments

Let'* reserve judgement until Spiral'* car actually runs right icon_wink.gif

Spiral, you DO have my support, and a little friendly ribbing from time to time. I've been patiently awaiting the successful completion

An AFC controller is only a tuning device for other mods, usually going to an extreme breather on the top end, as John did.

Plugs, Wires, AFC controllers, belts, these things aren't power-adders by themselves, but can ENABLE other mods.

Go for the 180 stat, trans cooler (for 4T60'*), intake and exhaust. Pulley is next, then go from there if money and needs dictate.

I had an Apexi *-AFC II on my saturn when I had it nitrous'd, it was okay with keeping up with that but once I put my turbo in it would accomidate for fuel with 5# anything after that Id lean out. Then I went with megasquirt, then because JE pistons suck and had too big of a piston ring groove the the pistons slapped and chipped away on my BRAND NEW block and it died... sad sad story, thats when I gave up on modding my saturn and threw my old engine back in it.

But yea, the AFC is highly dependent on the MAF/MAP sensor, they work great for honda guys who have 3 bar map sensors but they arent the best on saturns and I beleive bonnevilles use the same as the saturn... not exactly sure though.

It runs great now, well at this moment it doesnt run at all because the PCM is gone and my cluster is ripped out so I can clean the connectors. But before I ripped that apart I did a wicked burnout without the the assistance of the E-Brake. No more of those until I find a LSD option for the 4T60-E'* though.
