just thought I would let you all in on a good product I just found. It is callled the furminator and I got it at the local pet store and I will tell you this thing is amazing. It got all kinds of fur that the undercoat rake and the slicker brush didn't get. now the floor is not covered in dog hair anymore lol

here is the website and all the information you could want . They are a bit pricey but I think it is worth it I have a norwegian elkhound and with out the shampoo and condition which is suppossed to loosen the hair I got 3 vaccumm containers full

Good tip! I've got an Alaskan Malamute and he'* blowing his coat right now....what a mess! I'm def. going to look more into this thing.
