I wish my garage and tool room was clean, oh how I wish, but I just have to much stuff, and it not all car stuff. I just don't want to get rid of it cause it'* all good stuff, at least I think it is. My project for the next year is to organise and clean my tool room, and build a shed at the side of the house. Let'* see if it happens.
Wish me luck.

I'm facinated by things mechanical, always have been, starting with my 35 year love affair with trains. There are quite a few items around here that have no purpose other than I wanted to see how they worked. There'* a 1898 Krag rifle sitting over on the workbench that has no real purpose. I always wanted to see why they have such slick actions, so I ended up with one (and the rumors were true..they are the slickest bolt action ever made, even if they are obsolete by 100 years.)
Every now and then my "Pack Rat" habits pay off. Three years ago I scored a few thousand Weatherby/Buehler scope rings from a local scrap metal dealer. I'm still selling them off on ebay...which financed a lot of needed stuff. But, admittedly, there is a lot of stuff out there in the garage that truely is "junk"...just can't bring myself to pitch it out 'cause you never know what tomorrow will bring....

I'm definatly a pack rat....only when it comes to A/V stuff though!! I must have a couple large bags of wires.....cable, midi, speaker, A/V.......old cd/dvd players that maybe I can "fix" someday.....sets of home speakers.....and lots of random music equip. U know it'* pretty bad when ur saving a peice of speaker wire that'* only 2 feet long saying "I could proly use that someday"
