There was also a GP in there last year that ran with some RWD cars. HPP was impressed with it. I have that issue around somewhere.

High Performance Pontiac has more and more been doing write ups on GP's

but it would be nice to read about our bonnie every once in a while.

The only cars that youd ever read about are going to be the new GXps once people start playing around with those, cars, most of the bonnies here will never be in a mag beacuse there old, and a four door family sedan, nobody would be a magazine about a family sedan, thats just how the world turns

I looked at the latest "Pontiac High Performance" magazine and there wasn't any 3800 powered cars in it. Ads maybe but I didn't look hard enough

Don't you guys wish they would feature the Bonnevilles and the Grand Prixes (the FWD ones, not the old RWD ones, we've seen enough of them)

Pick up a copy of High Performance Pontiac. I have a subscription. IIRC, the Dec., 2005 (or maybe it was Jan., 2006) had a 6 page article on a turbo conversion of a L67 in a 05 GP. Intense even had an ad in the magazine.

The info is scarce, but it's out there. ;)

You're right, that it's scarce but it's out there. Well I really don't want to be looking extra hard for a 3x5 article on a GP that appears once a year. You know what I mean. Maybe this club can start a magazine, (hint, hint) hell, we have the brains to do it (read: admins) and the styling department (read: me and everyone else)
Huh how about that? :D

Again, it's all about the $$$. Yeah, we can say that Pontaic should produce the Bonneville again, doesn't mean everybody's going to buy it. It was discontinued for a reason.

Perhaps more magazine coverage can be had once a new, from-the-ground-up full-size Pontiac sedan comes along.

Depends on what you do to it, i was talking about most of these highschool kids with the imports that look good, but are stock except for a can on the back... wasnt trying to slam imports, i have a '06 nissan, my point was our big sedans are far from slow

True

Most people could careless about FWD 3800 powered cars.

GP's especially take enough flak from having a supercharged V6 under the hood. Many of the 'sports car' owners think it's a terrible idea and that GP's are slow as sin no matter what. When they see GP's modded and running 12's, they still think the cars are lame.

Until they become RWD with a stick, most auto enthusiasts won't look twice at them.

At a campus car show at my school recently, there was a group of people who all owned a certain type of car ... I won't say. From what I was hearing, they really do not like GP's one bit, and think most of us are just like Honda Civic owners because we modify a car that ... according to them ... is impractical to modify since they are slow to begin with.
