Oh... uh wow. I've seen that happen before at Norwalk a few years back. Guy had a 572 BBC in a Camaro, and when he launched the axle snapped off the frame, and nearly flipped the car clear over from the power. He was making somewhere around 1200-1300HP.

Looks like the welds on the ladder bar housing brackets broke, judging by how the brackets still appear to be intact
