Default Yet Another Networking Question!!!

OK, so now that I got that kink sorted out (hasn't dropped a connection since I moved them), it'* time to settle my other gripe.

For some reason, all of my downloads seem to be limited to a total of 150 kbps, even though a speedtest says I get 1300kbps. I don't get it, is there some kind of limiter? I know that it can go faster, since I get spikes of 400-500 kbps when I first start it sometimes. Any thoughts?

Modem: Efficient Networks SpeedStream 5200
Router: D-Link WBR-2310

What are you downloading from? I.E. , LImewire, ect? Could the servers your downloading from be limiting the bandwith they give out to you?

Check your uTorrent settings to see if it limits your d/l speed. My limewire did until I changed it.
