WOOT! I managed to grab the last seat in a class I really wanted to take, "Crime and Delinquency!"

Other College/University students should know what I mean. We register online, and this class has been closed (aka full) for weeks. I just checked, it was open, registered (got in), and it was closed again! So in other words I got the one spot someone must have just dropped! I'm stoked.

To other college/university folk, what classes are you taking this semester?

I've got:
Political Science 2110: International Relations
Political Science 2240: Administration of Justice
Political Science 2410: Public Administration
German 1100
Sociology 3500: Crime and Delinquency
Sociology 3850: Sociology of Law (this will probably be dropped, as it was just in case I didn't sneak into 3500, and its a night class which I loathe.)

Thats good your excited about your classes. Looks like you got everything you want.
I've got a ton of work and sleepless nites ahead of me this semester..
I'm taking advanced thermodynamics, a finite element analysis class, intro to IC engines, senior design Pt2 (Doing HVAC project), an maybe another class or 2 I forget.
I complain about my classes all the time but deep down inside I love it.

Sheesh, you people have some complicated sounding classes. I have Physics, Elementary Stats, Linear Algebra, Bio Stats, and a couple Education course. Yuck, lots of math (which is my minor, but still!!!).

Community College... we gotta toughen ourselves up with "Applied Mechanics" 'stead of good old Physics

i kid, i kid: Sheridan is an excellent, world-renowned school for digital animation, even if it is technically a CC. We got a visit from Queen Elizabeth II a few years ago o.O
And Jim W graduated from here... Being a silly little 1st year 'freshman' and knowing little about my job prospects, I kinda find that fact nifty. I admire where Jim'* gotten himself in life, it'* something nice to look up to.

Dunno about the states, but here, CC you get your hands on, universities you get your theoretical. I much love my "Applied Engineering".

Though big course names only exist to scare students....

Somewhat on topic.. how are the programs and schools to go along with you people'* courses?

I have my co-op and a networking class.
I also have to test out of one class, some silly "intro to computer info systems".

Finishing a community college is not some staggering achievement, but hopefully it will get me something a little better than the throw away job I now have.

I'm all finished with my upper level credits for Bus. Administration. I have 6 electives to take unless I test out of them. Not sure what they will be...stupid easy ones is what I'm hoping for. Oh yea....I go online all the time, year round.... one class at a time, each class is 5 weeks long. So yes...I took Accounting I & II each in 5 weeks...Stats, Eco i&II, Marketing, Project Management, Ebusiness, blah blah blah....each class was only 5 weeks long...same classes you take for an entire semester. But that'* what happens when you're <ack> old <ack> and have to work for a living too....

plus I miss out on all the cool parties

    Edit...Hey! I hit 333 posts and didn't realize it. Whop-di-do huh? lol....
