Take your hammer in next time. Tell them the problems came up before the warranty expired, and you just couldn't break it free to take it in. If the dealer gives you a hard time, ask to speak to the district service manager.

They said it don't matter. If your 1 mile over they wont cover it. Guess I'm fixing it. Told my wife to take it in, but she always had an excuse.

Accept full responsibility, and don't blame your wife. Even if it is her fault. When the wife is happy, everyone is happy.

That stinks. Depending on the dealer alot of them will do a one time courtesy repair. I guess now with the all the bailouts and restructuring they dont want to give up one extra penny.

Other then fixing it on our dime, they would do nothing. He said not one mile over, don't mater that we called a month ago to set up the appointment. 12,000 miles in less then 8 months. That'* what 30 days of driving 60 miles each way to childrens hospital, and 9 weeks of 90 miles each way to do our shows adds up to.

Don't look like it will be to bad, a new power steering pump is under $60. Changing it don't look like it'* to hard either. Good thing I have every GM service manual. 1 belt, 2 hoses, 3 bolts, and it'* out.

not too bad for the 3400 usually everything is a pain with that motor
