A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO MIDNIGHT CST SUNDAY NIGHT.

SNOW WILL ARRIVE LATE THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE...HEAVY AT TIMES...THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING. A FOOT OR MORE OF SNOW IS LIKELY BY THE TIME THE SNOW DIMINISHES LATE SUNDAY NIGHT. GUSTY EAST WINDS WILL PRODUCE CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND NEAR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS AT TIMES.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO LIKELY. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE.

At 7:28AM on Friday February 2nd, 2007, Punxsutawney Phil, King of the Groundhogs. Seers of Seers, Prognosticators of Prognosticators, Weather Prophet without Peer, Imitated but Never Equaled gave the following proclamation

El Nino has caused high winds, heavy snow, ice and freezing temperatures in the west;

Here in the East, with much milder winter we have been blessed.

Global warming has caused a great debate;

Mild winter makes it seem just great.

On this Groundhog Day, we think of one thing:

Will we have winter or will we have spring?

On Gobbler’* ****, I see no shadow today;

I predict early spring is on the way!

John, your getting more snow there than what we are here

if thast making you REALY happy i wont even show you the 10-day for my area.... but then agian i get hurricanes and you dont... so its sorta an even trade off..... i get warm winters and hurricanes while you have blizazards and nice calm summers...
