Xbox 360 HDMI
I'm looking at HDMI cables for my 360. The Microsoft kit is a waste for me because I don't have a speaker system, and if I did, the TV has an optical out anyway. So I just need an HDMI cable.
Looking around Amazon, reveals prices anywhere from $1.50 to $100. The cheap ones have raving reviews, and some that say they couldn't get 1080p or the picture quality wasn't as good as the name brand cable the store recommended.
1080p doesn't bother me, as the TV just does 1080i, but I do want the best picture quality I can get.
Has anyone had a bad experience with a cheap HDMI cable?

thats bs, that they charge extra for that now.
I don't think it matters. Since it is a digital signal, the type of material shouldn't matter. Another forum I am on was debating this. Once you start getting up there in the high end components and larger distances, then it becomes more of an issue.
I'd get a cheaper one and try it, then spend the extra on the other if it doesn't have the quality you'd like.
