Thats a big gap in maturity. You are ready for a relationship, she just got done throwing her barbies away. You're almost a man, shes a little girl. Get my drift? As you get older the gap widens. In my case at age 22, 18 is the minimum acceptable. For example a 30 yr old can date a 20 yr old. But a 15 yr old cannot date a 10 yr old. You're what, 16? Yiou want to ask a 12/13 yr old out. Kinda nasty when you think about it, huh?
I'm 15. I'm young for my grade, so I figure she'* prolly 13.

Juging by how you act here I thought you were older. 13 year old girls are very immature. You seem pretty mature for you're age and prolly would be annoyed by her.

Well, I dunno. I may talk to her next week at church, and get to know her a little. What could it hurt, right?

I got a friend from school that fell in love in the 6th grade. They are still married to this day.

I say see if theres magic there and don't worrk about that age difference. Thats nothing to worry about until after you turn 18 <grin>

Sounds like its a personal beleif system.
fwiw when ones 25 the other will be 21. When ones 40 the other will be 36.

Maturity varies from age. Like what was said, she is just getting over barbies. He is becomeing an adult. At 20+, you have a closer maturaty to someone older than you then at age 12. You are barely mature at age 12. At that age, you dont really know what a relationship is. You also wont be going through the same changes and issues.
