I know they check me out all the time, but this was different. I would go a few blocks and another cop would come around a corner.

Good thing you were not drinking and pulled over for questioning on the abduction.

I really don't drink when I'm driving the Bonnie. the cops watch me to close as it is. And after that guy hit my car the front plate was knocked off, so I'm driving without a front plate. just another reason to pull me over.

From what I understand, a plate violation is a secondary offense, meaning they have to have another reason to pull you over before they can tag you for the plate

It has been many many years, but I was pulled over 5 times in 1 day for a front plate. I had a 76 chevy van and I just got it back from painting. And I didn't get the plate back on. I sure did it the next day.

I remember a story of a drug bust in south texas. The state trooper pulled a van over on a plate violatation and found a few kilo'* of dope. The whole case was thrown out because it was an "improper reason" for a pullover. I guess TX has a different stance on plates even though it is a two plate state. I refuse run a front a plate on the Pearl

Same here, which is why I'm glad FL is a one plate state.

I wish Wisconsin would do that. I like the look of the front better without the plate.
