Both of my grandfathers (mom and dad'* side) were stationed in the service in Germany (1st Battalion, 32nd Armor), with Elvis, and became great friends with him! Apparently my mom'* sister has a picture of Elvis and my grandfather together, with my grandfather'* arm around Elvis'* shoulder. They are both holding Maßes (German for mass of beer, aka a large german mug of beer). Interesting!

Also, another interesting fact, my mom'* family didn't even know my dad'* family, until my Dad met my mom in 1983, and both grandfathers met each other, and FREAKED! Who knew they would meet again 25 years later!

I am friends with Elvis too! He is sitting here next to me.

The second fact is actually more interesting to me than the first. Two WWII vets meeting that many years later at a wedding (presumably). That'* cool to me!!!
