What in the world do you do on a computer that you need to water cool it? We leave ours on 24/7 and the fan barely comes on.

well for one. Most of the stock Heat sinks in almost all of the PCs out there do not cool the CPUs the way they should be. The Cooler the better when it comes to PC'*

Most of the time people water cool for Over clocking there CPUs. Like i do.
one of my older PCs is a AMD XP Barton 1800+ (1.8Ghz) i over clocked it to 2.38Ghz witch is faster then the fastest AMD XP CPU
It has been running that way for over 4 years now. no problems.

Other thing peopel do water cooling for. is to make there PC Silent. IF you do the right water cooling setup it will run cooler and you will not here the cooling system at all

When i worked for FrozenCPU we have someone send there PC in to be Modded with water cooling and sound denning stuff. He was going to use the PC in a Sound Studio so he wanted it Very Quiet

I''m very impressed.

Have you ever heard of someone using alcohol instead of water and using a mini fridge compressor to get it below freezing?

I don't have the stats, but my son built a water cooling system for under $100. Might not have been sub-zero temps, but it definitely worked
