I'm not really into the Lacrosse/Allure. The Lucerne tho...wow...I saw one in diamond white, tinted with stock 18" chrome wheels. It was great!

Yeah, I agree that the Lucerne is a much better looking car, and it looks like it has more features. I want it. Anyone wanna buy one for me, you can have a white ssei in exchange

I would, but it would have to be top of the line. Need some style and substance if it'* going to be a buick; not a rental car-esk.

GXP Venom had a lacrosse before the GXP, fyi...

Snob!! :P You sound just like Jeff. He cracks me up! I will see a nice bonne and he will roll his eyes and say something like "Base model." To me it doesn't change the fact that its a nice car.

I've driven a 2005 Lacrosse. They are nice ride, easy to go a long distance in. It had granny gears and was a major slouch with the S3 L36. Good milage(upper 20'* I think), and no road noise to speak of.

I love the car and traded a 05 CXL for my GXP. The CXS is the base model yet nothing base about it. The "L" basically designates leather seating (some have chrome trim options) as the CXS is generously appointed as are most Buicks. Hard to find "rental type"
models. Heres a pic of mine just before trade-in.

They are a little slower than SSEi'* , not much 1/4 miles references but the ones I've found are in the high 15'* stock.
