Would it work?

The soda cans or bottles that say ME or MICH 10 cents. Would it be possible to actually profit from taking a crap load of cans their?

I guess if you had enough of them to make it worth your while. You have to consider gas and wear & tear on your car.

Kramer and Newman tried that once. The only wey they found it financially feasible was to carry them in extra Postal Service trucks during Mother'* Day deliveries.

They failed...as they usually do.

That was a good episode.

From what I hear, all the return machines scan bar codes now. Cans from out of MI have different bar codes which may not work with the return machines in MI.

As of at least a year ago it still worked. I used to go to school in michigan. I would come home to wisconsin to visit my fam. I would buy pop down here and recycle the cans up there.

When I went to the motocross races in Buchanan, MI I would walk around the campground park and pick up all the cans I could find and then we would turn them in and that is how we paid for the gas back to Chicago.

I remember when you could buy a 8 pack of pop in glass bottles and turn them in for 10 cents a bottle. We use to save those until we were broke and then would take in quite a bit for cash.

It might work...especially if you still go to places where you don't send them through a machine, but I'm pretty sure that in Michy, that'* an illegal no-no.

you are sooooo funny. They didn't change from glass until about 1979 or so. I was in like 7th or 8th grade at the time.
