could you get a digital camera to send photos to a thumb drive?

upload the pics from the camera to the computer and then drag them on the thumb drive, never seen a camera with a usb port on it

well i was thinking a thumb drive would obviously be easier to pack around than a computer and if it was possible, whenever i got my digital camera id get a thumb drive with it, you could connect the 2 using an adapter with 2 female ends on it...but i dont know if the digi cam could write to it without software or not.

why not get a huge *** memory stick...like a gig or something

why did i not think of that? man im dumb sometimes!, pen drives and flash memory are very similarly priced too, although the pen drive would come in handy for stuff other than pictures....who knows
