Maybe a bit late here, but it is legal to drink up here ( Canada ) at age 19. You can even go out to the bars too,

Hehe, I've taken the bad, when does the good come around?

I do have to agree with the fact that even though there is bad, the good does come around when you least expect it. Spending time with friends helps alot. Hell I met Renee when friends and I went camping about an hour from home. Seen her and a friend roller blading, one guy knew her from another school, invited them to our fire that night and well 8 1/2 years later we are still together. There are other funny details about the meeting but I don't wanna bore people. Oh she lived only about 10 mins from my house and I had never met her before that weekend.

You don't have to have flaws to find yourself without a relationship (I'd know :P ). But in all seriousness, yeah, relationships are work but there comes a point that if it needs to be fixed-maybe thats the sign of a bigger problem-they shouldn't need work to hold them together.

How come all the good drama happens in the central states?
Sorry to hear about what happened. Like others have said, if he isn't man enough to tell you face to face, or even on the phone, then he probably isn't worth worrying about.
Sometimes though guys have valid reasons. I just broke up with my girlfriend so that I could do better in school, fix my bonneville and buy a house. I also figured it'd be a good way to figure out what I really want in a relationship.
What I suggest to you is to trade in the Alcohol for some good old Critical thinking. Figure out what you really want in a relationship, and also what you don't want. Sometimes that second part is more important than the first. Just some thoughts for you. And from what those that have met you said, you should have no problem finding a suitable replacement. I suggest something with a last name of SSEi.

Plane ticket to MN? WTF, you better drive. It'* a good one! We saw our best weather in Michigan and Canada last march!
My girl i had broke up with me after 3 weeks. It was perfect, we were both into it, and it was everything i would want, but it just wasn't for her. She told me there was a guy she was getting close with before me, and was saying she felt bad that she kinda put him behind me, and he wasn't happy about it at all. So what does she do? Same thing to me, thinking maybe he'll go for her, and that she doesn't realy like me like that, etc. I think i heard every excuse from her.
I don't hate her and i try to talk to her, she says she loves to have me as a friend still, but it'* like she'* not even making an effort. It hurts, and you won't forget it but you'll move on. Just keep yourself busy, work helps a lot .
