That is a really sad incident. And I hope they string that mini-van driver out to dry. I can't picture anything other than a mechanical failure that could cause you to run a stop sign and hit something the size of a schoolbus hard enough to knock it over (and, for those that have seen the pics, totally remove the rear axle)....

Sorry for the brusque attitude, but my experience as a Traffic Accident Investigator have kicked in, and based on what they've shown us, I believe this accident was caused by negligence/inattention....

and why did they fail to mention the driver of the minivan had no license and was convicted last year of driving without a license. It was ommited because she is an illegal immigrant.
